Veteran’s Day Review

Veteran’s Day Review

On November 11, LCA hosted a breakfast in honor of our veterans. We started out the morning with an excellent performance of America the Beautiful by the LCA Middle School/High School band.

The speaker of the morning was Bro. Bill Gilliland, a former Marine and present member of the Tulsa Lighthouse Church. He spoke of his past in the Marines and some of the things that happened with his friends while he was in the service.

After a prayer led by Pastor Howard, also of the Lighthouse Church, breakfast was served. Sis. Peggy Hardman, our resident school cook, prepared a breakfast casserole along with fresh fruit and peach & cream pies.

Thank you to everyone who attended. Most of all, thanks to our veterans for fighting for our freedom. It is because of your sacrifice and dedication that we live in a free nation. We hope that you enjoyed this small token of our appreciation for all that you have done for us.
