5 Things to do During Spring Break

Whether you are staying in town or not, there are many fun things you can do this spring break. Here are a few places you can go in Tulsa.
1. Philbrook Museum of Art
This museum is surrounded by thick, luscious gardens and filled with amazing art. The many collections of artwork consist of American art, African art, Asian art, European art, Native American art, antiquities, decorative arts, modern art, and works on paper.
2. Woodward Park
If you love nature, then you will love Woodward Park. It h as acres of beautiful gardens and a number of specialty gardens featuring spring flowers, tropical plants, and cacti. The Rose Garden features over 9,000 roses of over 250 varieties.
3. Tulsa Zoo
At the Tulsa Zoo you can learn about animals from all over the world. The Tulsa Zoo features over 10 animal exhibits including a Tropical Amazon Rainforest, a Sea Lion cove, and a Children’s Zoo.
4. The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art
This museum contains objects that were donated by Oklahoma veterans who took part in the liberation of German concentration camps. Other artifacts were brought to Oklahoma by Jewish refugees from Natiz Germany. Many of the artifacts were mementos of people who died in the Holocaust.
5. Tulsa Air and Space Museum
You can find a vintage aircraft, hands-on activities, historical exhibits, and a full time planetarium. The Pearl Harbor exhibit tells the stories of survivors, and the World War II exhibit tells of Tulsa’s contribution to the war.
